Day 1 – Saturday

Depart Toronto by air to Catania via Rome, Italy

Day 1 - Sunday

Welcome to Fontanarossa airport where you’ll be introduced to our driver who will take you to your Boutique Winery/Agriturismo ANTICA TINDARI. Don’t forget to enjoy the journey along the way. The spectacular views of the Tyrennian Sea, Mt. Etna, endless vineyards and Toarimina in the distance. Smell that wonderful Sicilian air and feel that hot medititerrian breeze. Upon your arrival Pina and Lidia will welcome you! Check in followed by a welcome wine and cheese to discuss the unforgettable days ahead.

DAY2 - Monday

After a much needed night of rest. Pina welcomes you to your very first Sicilian Brunch. Enjoy the views, the pool, the vineyards, the mountains, take a walk towards the sea. Take this day to adjust, un wind, lounge in the sun. Relax and be prepared for a tour of the Cantina. After sunset, prepare yourself for a true Cena alla siciliana. Wines included.

Day 3 - tuesday

A whole day trip to One of the most famous active volcanoes as we drive threw the Nebrodi mountians to Mount Etna. A Gondala ride to the top of Europes hightest active volcanoe is a must see. At over 10,000 feet, Etna is Sicily’s signature landscape that simply is breathtaking. From here, we will visit a nearby wineries for some local wine and cheese. Cena will be served back at Antica Tindari.

Day 4 - wednesday

Today we stay local visiting the nearby UNESCO site in which our argriturismo is named after. TINDARI Sancturary sits at a mountain peak overlooking the Tyrannean Sea with Marinello below it. Here, we lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria Tyndaris. Options afterwards vary depending on personal perference. Return to AT or continue on to the small seaside town of Mongiove. Cena served at 9pm at AT

Day 5 - Thursday

A day of Leisure!  Rest today because tomorrow shall be long and busy. All you need today is a good book and a glass of Inzolia by the pool. Wine tasting under the pool canopy lead by Guiseppe and Lidia. Here we sample Antica Tindari’s flight of wines. Pina’s signature antipasto will be served. Cena at 8pm

Day 6 - Friday

Archipelago: We drive to the famous resort town of Toarimina with stops at isola Bella and Giardini Xioas. . The passigiatta through this spectacular hill top town will take us to through cobblestone paths, shops, cafes, and lunch at one of it’s top restaurant. TBD. Wine provided. Afterwards, take some time to relax, have an espresso or swim at isola Bella. Upon heading back, a quick stop at Giardini for another passigiatta along the sea. light snacks available at AT.

Day 7 - Saturday

Cooking day in San Piero Patti: Today we travel the seaside town of Patti. Check out the local shops, have a gelato or a cappucinoalong the Lungho mare. From here we travel inland to the town of San Piero where we will learn how to make the classic Sicilian treat ARANCINI’s. The master at this is Tenuccia Scaglione. We cook and enjoy al fresco with a glass or two of the local wine.

Day 8 – Sunday

The Sicilian Coast: Today we will drive along the northern coast heading west to the famous town of CEFALU. Along the way stops will include a drink at the Santa Margarita Villa where you’ll be sure to take the best pictures. Upon arrival to Cefalu - you are left to stroll the streets, take of tour, do some shopping. Departure at 6:30 will lead us back to AT for our final farewell dinner.

day 9 - monday

Catania or Alanticante or Murgo or passpassario

Day 10 -

Our final day At Antica Tindari- At our leisure - A day at the beach or a day at the pool. - relax and get ready for our final dinner at AT as we prepare to say goodbye to la Bella Sicilia. weather you’re heading home or going on to the mainland of Italy, our final evening will be one to remember.
